The Kirk // PNK Property Team
We maintain and repair when necessary the church and related properties. Those include not only the Church Building and Back Hall; there is also the wooden North Hall, the grounds, the Manse and the Minister's garage.
There is always plenty to do because the church buildings are in regular use, not just with church meetings and activities.

Because of the open door, just as it says, the doors are open to the community. The buildings are in regular use by the community and things do wear out more quickly. We do need to keep on top of things. There are times when we do need help from those outwith the property team, for example decorating of the North Hall when we have quite a short period of time to get this done before the lets take up residence again. |
We do try to keep inconvenience where at all possible to a minimum.
Some of the works carried out recently, a new sound/stage lighting/ PowerPoint desk was constructed from scratch, and although this was new it had blended in very naturally to the existing surroundings and become a very prominent feature. We also had the church wooden floor heavily sanded and re-sealed, restoring it to its former self.
The property team is made up of a number of people who work as a team, each individual is responsible for a designated area and are...
Bruce Dunlop - Church sanctuary welcome area and balcony Colin Glen - Back church hall, kitchen and toilet area David Symington - North Hall Ricky Barr - Manse Andrew Knox - Property Team Leader Bob Sommerville - Retired Team Leader, still has connections with property
If anyone wants to help us out, or comes across something needing doing that we have overlooked, the above are the people to speak to.
