Open Door Project - Phase Two

Around November 2008  the congregation agreed to support the Leprosy Mission in its effort to build 20 low costs houses in India for those suffering from leprosy.  The houses at that time were to cost £750 each but as the pound crashed on the money markets, the cost of the houses rose to £1100 each. The congregation supported this effort so well and with God’s grace we reached our target of 20 houses 9 months early.  Additionally a bible printed in English and Hindi was placed in each house.
